Pocklington Medical Centre
New 2 storey medical centre to achieve BREEAM Very Good.
Low Carbon Box provided the SBEM and Thermal Comfort Report for Pocklington Medical Centre. These were modelled using DesignBuilder in 3D. For the thermal comfort analysis, the data was used and exported to EnergyPlus for a separate simulation.

Key Features
The scheme was required to achieve BREEAM Very Good, with energy a key feature. the credit confirming overheating was within the credit criteria was also met with the scheme. The Architect integrated overhangs and single sided, souble opening ventilation to ensure the building was cool in the summer to provide excellent occupant comfort.
